We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Anyone here seen "Space Jam: A New Legacy"?

I'm NOT giving Space Jam:A New Legacy a chance...no Pepe le Pew? Not even in the stage?

I'm thinking of making my own Looney Tunes film, and yes...Pepe le Pew WILL be in it!

And it'll be rated PG for cartoon violence and cartoon nudity (Porky Pig loses his shirt in one scene).

I now hear there may be a Space Jam 3 with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson!

I'll be sticking with the classics. I actually never saw the first Space Jam.

Yep, I seen it, in a theater. It's not quite the original, but it does remember that the Looney Tunes are, well, looney. As in non-conformist and outside-the-box, which is precisely what a Boolean villain like Al G Rithm can't handle. If you want to see a Bugs Bunny cartoon with some schmaltz in it, and cameos galore, this is one to go see.

Well...Space Jam: A New Legacy has received a Golden Razzie for Worst Picture.

Yep...it got the opposite of the Oscar!

Well, a Razzie is bad, but not that bad. Box Office Mojo has it recouping its budget, adding in the overseas totals. Disc sales will add onto that. So, SJ2 pulls down 160 million, versus the original's $250 million. Warner Brothers has done much worse, believe me.

It wasn't much great for 2021 with Warner Brothers cartoons...they also struggled with the movie Tom and Jerry.

All of 2021 was a wash, with a tiny few exceptions. Theater chains closed down, or limited capacity, to limit the 19th contagion. Nevertheless, Tom And Jerry took in $46,536,687 in the United States, and another $86,800,000 abroad. That's roughly one-third domestic, plus two-thirds overseas, making the worldwide total gross $133,336,687. It made back its budget and then some despite #19. This doesn't look like a struggle to me, more like 90 days to double their money.
