You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Au Revoir, Pepe.

Sad but true. Pepe Le Pew, one of the most iconic Looney Tunes characters, has been permanently removed not only from Space Jam 2, but all future Looney Tunes.

They say the reason he was kicked out of the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies universe is that his behavior towards Penelope is similar to being a rapist or sex offender. I take issue with that, since from my perspective as a little girl in the 1960's and early 1970's, he was just a lovesick polecat, who never actually harmed the object of his desire. Sure, she ran from him, but it was more due to his odor than his romantic overtures. So I say, leave the skunk in.

Source? Not that I doubt the undoubtable EmeraldIsle, and Cancel Culture was bound to go in this direction; I'd just like to read the statement consigning poor Pepe to his grave.

I read it on Facebook. But now, it seems, Chuck Jones' daughter is begging them to give the poor skunk another chance.

    In some cartoons...Penelope chases Pepe!

In many ways, I see Pepe le Pew ignorant only because he doesn't realize that Penelope isn't a skunk!

It's a shame that a lot of people seem to be so PC nowadays. I agree that he's just a harmless lovesick skunk. Also, Pepe has a history. His character is loosely based on Tedd Pierce. Apparently, he thought himself to be a real ladies man.

Dave Alvarez, the principal artist behind DC Comics' Looney Tunes series, made this post:
Okay, but let me remind you that WB mothballed Lola Bunny for 14 years after Space Jam, because "she's not looney enough!" And Sniffles the Mouse had gone 50 years in his grave until making a cameo in 1996, and hasn't been seen since. Perhaps Orson Welles spoke truer than he knew when his media mogul character in Citizen Kane rumbled, "I will tell the people what to think."
