    Other Side Of Maleficent

    I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

    The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    This is another game where you use a title of one cartoon like "Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law" and "Harvey Beaks" and you get..."Harvey Beaks: Attorney at Law".

    Optional...you can name the plot. For "Harvey Beaks: Attorney at Law", Harvey is a lawyer for the Nickelodeon characters.

    Bugs ½: A capricious rabbit deals with troublesome neighbors and relationship issues while under a curse. He's a buck rabbit when doused with cool water, but becomes a doe rabbit when doused with warm water. This would go a long way toward explaining the rabbit's gender-identity issues.

    Well, that put an idea in my head. And it's all characters from the same studio, so ... it's a possibility.

    Hopps : An ordinary rabbit receives an infusion of superpowers, in order to protect the mayor's daughter from a shadowy cabal bent on turning Zootopia into a Stalinist state. She becomes faster than a speeding cheetah, more powerful than a pachyderm, and able to leap tall fences in a single bound. Bunny power!
