You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Since it's Presidents Day tomorrow, I like to know many cartoons that have had a president from Oswald the Rabbit cartoon Confidence which featured a chariacture of FDR to Animaniacs cartoon called "Presidents".

Well, there is that nutty song "Presidents' Day" as sung by Bizarro Lola Bunny as an extra bit in The Looney Tunes Show. She starts out fine, with Washington and Lincoln, but after that, pretty much every Hollywood celebrity is credited as a President. Curiously, actual Hollywood actor Ronald Reagan is never mentioned, though Alec Baldwin and Scarlet Johannsen are. I'd chalk this up to Chickification.

Tiny Toon Adventures had a chariacture of Ronald Reagan in "Washingtoon"...as well as George Bush, Richard Nixon, and Jimmy Carter.

In "Ballot-Box Bunny", Bugs imitates Theodore Roosevelt and even quoting "speak softly and carry a big stick".

Oh! And there's Yankee Doodle Bugs, where Bugs Bunny explains American History to his nephew, Clyde. Of course, he gets most of the details wrong, including George Washington joining the Continental Army ... via a Draft Board letter. "Zounds! I've been drafted." Kinda hard to do, since the Draft Board hadn't been invented yet. A 1954 cartoon directed by Isadore "Friz" Freleng.

There was a Gumby cartoon where Prickle and Goo visit Mount Rushmore and Goo calls Theodore Roosevelt "Teddy Bear" and Prickle says "3 out of 4 isn't bad".

But in reality...the Teddy Bear was an homage to Theodore Roosevelt.

Because we may lose James Earl Carter (he's in hospice as we speak)...there's a King of the Hill ep called "The Father, The Son, and The J.C.". It features Jimmy Carter who has done a lot for Habitat for Humanity.

The opening theme to "Animaniacs" has a line featuring "Bill Clinton on the sax",with a caricature of the then-President.

The revamp of Animaniacs had a chariacture of Donald Trump.

I wonder how many cartoons had Trump as a chariacture prior to becoming POTUS?
