You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

    Hello everyone,
THIS JUST IN: From Atlanta, Georgia-

Turner/Time-Warner has announced that they will be merging Cartoon Network with Boomerang to form an all-new cable/satellite channel which will occupy both spots of the former channels, representing the East and West coasts, respectively. The new channel will be christened the Childrens' and Nostalgia Network (thus allowing Turner/Time-Warner to keep the current CN logo) and will feature CN favorites such as Ben 10, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, Chowder and George of the Jungle, Cartoon-Cartoon favorites such as Dexter's Lab, Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy, Johnny Bravo, Mike, Lu & Og and Sheep in the Big City, along with classic cartoons such as Yogi Bear, Scooby-Doo, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, MGM, Popeye, Super Friends, The Archies, Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, He-Man and the much-requested return of the original "classic" George of the Jungle. This news comes right on the heels of CN's announcement that it will be canceling their live-action/animation hybrid show, Out of Jimmy's Head, due to extremely poor ratings. Subsequent live-action projects on CN have likewise been shelved indefinitely.

The new channel will launch June. 31, 2008.

Which is Saint Neverever's Day; there is no 31st day in June, let alone that 2008 was eleven years ago. I don't think that's what they mean by "late-breaking news."

Second cousin to Ben Dover and C. Howett Fields.

No such periodical or trade publication exists. "RDRR" is an in-joke from The Simpsons in which a math whiz explains a hilarious formula, and the result is rDrr. It's onomatopoeia for laughter, much like Lippy The Lion's sidekick, Hardy Har-Har.

Methinks this is a recycled April Fools' Joke. Broadcasters pay a princely sum to have their designated channels, and are loathe to cede them. The last time a channel reformatted was caused by the owner going bankrupt, and selling off the channel as part of the liquidation. Turner's holdings are nowhere near bankruptcy, so there's no way he'd muddle his properties like that. Cartoon Network has its target audience, Boomerang has a slightly different segment, and the two together cover the animation fanbase pretty well.
