You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Correction: Scooby-doo And Scrappy-doo - Season 2

  1. POSSIBLE CORRECTIONS FOR THE MODERATORS: AIR DATES REGARDING SEASON 2 OF SCOOBY-DOO AND SCRAPPY-DOO

I need to point out that some of the episodes of Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo from season 2 had actually aired weeks before being part of The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show.

Why? They had originally made up the second half of an hour-long incarnation of Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo that was paired with an episode from season 1 (1979-80).

The shows (3 segments each) that aired prior to The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show:
    1. "A Close Encounter with a Strange Kind" / "A Fit Night Out for Bats" / "The Chinese Food Factory" - originally aired October 4, 1980, reran on November 15, 1980
    2. "Scooby's Desert Dilemma" / "Stuntman Scooby" / "Mummy's the Word" - originally aired October 11, 1980, reran on November 22, 1980
    3. "The Old Cat and Mouse Game" / "Scooby's Three-Ding-a-Ling Circus" / "Hang in There, Scooby" - originally aired October 18, 1980, reran on November 29, 1980
    4. "Scooby's Bull Fright" / "Stowaways" / "Long John Scrappy" - originally aired October 25, 1980, reran on December 6, 1980
    5. "A Bungle in the Jungle" / "Scooby's Fun Zone" / "Scooby's Fantastic Island" - originally aired November 1, 1980, reran on December 13, 1980

Then, we enter when it was part of The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show:
    6. "Scooby Ghosts West" / "Swamp Witch" / "Waxworld" - originally aired November 8, 1980, reran on December 20, 1980
    7. "Scrappy's Birthday" / "Sir Scooby and the Black Knight" / (rerun) - originally aired January 3, 1981
    8. "Scooby in Wonderland" / (rerun) / (rerun) - originally aired January 10, 1981
    9. "Scooby's Swiss Miss" / "Et Tu, Scoob?" / "Soggy Bog Scooby" - originally aired January 17, 1981
    10. "South Seas Scare" / "Scooby Gumbo" / "Alaskan King Coward" - originally aired January 31, 1981
    11. "Moonlight Madness" / "Way Out Scooby" / "Strongman Scooby" - originally aired February 7, 1981
    12. "Scooby at the Center of the World" / "Scooby's Trip to Ahz" / "Dog Tag Scooby" - originally aired February 14, 1981
    13. "Robot Ranch" / "Scooby Dooby Guru" / "Surprised Spies" - originally aired February 28, 1981

From the second week, The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show aired repeats of the SD&SD segments making up the half-hours that originally aired 10/4/80, 10/11/80, 10/18/80, 10/25/80 and 11/1/80, alongside the fresh new Richie Rich segments.

The RR/SD show that aired on 1/3/81 had one SD&SD rerun + two new segments while the 1/10/81 show had two SD&SD reruns + one new segment.

The first five weeks of SD&SD, again, aired prior to RR/SD, and that explains why the Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show: Volume 1 DVD listing presents the SD&SD episodes in an order different than in syndication.
