You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Does anyone else feel like Uncle Grandpa gets more hate then it deserved???

It seems like most of the hate comes from when the trailer for it first came out, which isn't really a good source to put all your hate on it. They seem to just look at the poster and think "Oh, another dumb random=funny cartoon" Which seems like pretty surface-level hatred to me. I understand though, from the surface, it looks like that. But I personally feel like it's more surrealist comedy. It's like if Salvador Dali met 1930s-40s Looney Tunes, or early Max Fleischer cartoons, which the creator seems to understand well. So well in fact that he was able to do the new Looney Tunes reboot so well that the difference was hardly noticeable.

Another common criticism of the show is that it's drawn ugly. I think there's a difference between drawing something ugly, and drawing something funny. A funny drawing can be ugly, but it should also make you laugh. An example of funny drawings would be Ren and Stimpy or Robert Crumb. They aren't cute by any means, but by god do they make you laugh. An ugly cartoon is something that's just ugly for the sake of shock value, such as Problem Solverz or Beavis and Butthead. I think this show falls under funny, yes the show's art looks absurd, but in a funny way.

Another extremely common theme with complaints is they think the show lacks any plot. It's a comedy cartoon, it wasn't made with the intention to tell a story, it was made with the intention to be funny. That would be like giving a pair of headphones a bad review for having bad graphics. The shows concept though is still pretty neat though, too. A guy and his friend who go around the world in their RV to help kids in need. It's simple, and it works. The show seems like the writers and animators both have an equally fun time working on it.

As always I'm up to discuss in the comments if you like.
