You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

I've looked up the history of the Wiley-Roadrunner cartoon shorts and their plots. I've also checked out the early ones on DailyMotion site. I can't seem to find one of the earliest ones, where, on one try, Wiley gets high up on a cliff with a cable stretching across the canyon. He's wearing an old style football helmet with a pulley wheel attached to the top of his helmet. As the drum rolls, he carefully balances himself upside down with his helmet pulley on the cable. Before he can even start rolling, the cable snaps immediately and he falls.
I know this was an early Wiley Coyote I saw way back as it's not as brightly colored and without the more modern looking backrounds. Maybe I missed that scene while watching the early Wiley Coyote shorts.

Can anyone clue me in as to the title of this Warner Brothers cartoon short? Perhaps it was one that didn't feature the Road Runner as a prime character, even tho there's a road runner in it.

    Hello, Caslon and welcome![welcome]
The cartoon you seek is Whoa, Be-Gone! [WB, 1958], a Roadrunner short from the "classic" era directed by Chuck Jones. It is one of several Roadrunner cartoons appearing on the 4-DVD set: Looney Tunes Golden Collection, Volume 2. This short is very much in the tradition of the other RR toons, with the Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote as the prime characters. [wile]

Thanks, glad to be here! I've just spent over $80 buying various Looney Tunes DVD's on eBay to compile my fave 20 WB cartoon shorts onto DVD, about 20 of them. I had to order a DVD released only in Japan to get "Greedy for Tweety." It's on it's way here, hopefully. What a crime that that title is not available on other LT's DVDs! It boggles the mind. That title is on my top 3 list.
