You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

What is your favorite Popeye mumble/ad-lib. It can be any character from a Popeye cartoon.

Here's one, but I don't know what cartoon it's from.

Popeye and Olive are at the ice skating rink getting the ice skates:

    Popeye- What foot are you?
Olive- I take a 3 and a half but an 8 feels so good.
    Popeye- better get 12's huh.

My favorite actually comes from a Famous Studios cartoon after popeye's mumbles had all but vanished. Popeye was trying to take a picture of Olive Oyl and she fell into The Valley That Time Forgot. As she is being dragged happily away by a caveman to his den, Popeye says, "I sure hope Olive ain't overexposed!"

Here's one from Goonland. Popeye while disguising himself as a Goon- "Hair today, Goon tomorrow. Yekyekyek."

    From Never Kick A Woman
Mae West-lookalike boxing teacher: "Why don't ya come up and see me?"
    Popeye: "I'm practically there!"

From Popeye The Sailor Meets Ali Baba's Forty Thieves:
Bluto: "You wanna make fool from me?" Popeye: "Nature beat me to it."

Popeye The Sailor Meets Ali Baba's Forty Thieves has a good one by Olive.
While she's scrubbing the laundry, Popeye falls in the wash tub. As she's washing Popeye, she says "This laundry is getting heaver and heaver."

Olive and Popeye are having lunch, which is a cake and a roast turkey. Popeye says, "I'll take the cake and give you the bird."

From one of the old Fleischer shorts, when Popeye's efforts to get his nephews to eat spinach frustrate him, and he decides to spank them:

"I hates to do this, but what has to be, has to be."

I also love the one with the termites, when he outsmarted them by building a house of steel. And then replaced his pipe with a metal one.

My fave, also from Ali Baba's Forty Thieves, comes this gem, when he's handed a menu printed in Arabic.

"I didn't order any Chinese laundry. Hmm, this writin's written rotten." And he's rotating the menu every which way to try and make sense of it. Poor Popeye, Google translate had yet to be invented. :bored:
