You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Geoff Edwards.

This is a follow-up to the post I delted yesterday. I had to wait until it was officially confirmed. But game show host Geoof Edwards is dead at 83.

He hosted "Jackpot," "Treasure Hunt," and other game shows in th '70's and 80's. I even remember seeing the 1974 iteration of "Jackpot," and being able to solve most of the riddles. RIP, Mr. Edwards. You'll be missed. :(

Geoff Edwards was considered for the host of "Family Feud" but he turned down the offer to host another game show titled "Shoot For The Stars" which had a short run in 1977 on NBC.

Jack Narz was also considered for the "Family Feud" host but Richard Dawson was hired. Dawson's contract as a regular panelist for "The Match Game" on CBS was expiring and he agreed to renew the contract provided that he would host an new Mark Goodson-Bill Todman game show in a future time.

Edwards worked as a news reporter for San Diego radio station KFMB and he had covered the aftermath of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas. Edwards was in the parking garage of the Dallas police headquarters and witnessed Jack Ruby shooting Kennedy's assassin Lee Harvey Oswald. Edwards worked for several Southern California radio stations as a reporter and a personality and had acted in a few tv shows, notably "Petticoat Junction". He later worked for Salinas-Monterey, CA tv station KION/KCCN as a travel reporter.

Other game shows Edwards hosted included "Hollywood's Talking", "Play the Percentages", "Starcade", and the USA Network version of "Chain Reaction". He also hosted the California Lottery Big Spin game show for several seasons in the 1980s.

He's animatedly connected, to DePatie-Freleng Entereprises's bizarre 1972 "Saturday AM. Superstar Movie" series on ABC in 1972, the episode "Luv(sic)cast USA", as the DJ!
