    Other Side Of Maleficent

    I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

    The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

Has Spongebob lost its best writers??????

    The reason I believe that Spongebob went downhill since the post-movie era because they have writers who watched too much of Season One. [​IMG]


    Its best writers however moved on to create new shows for rival channels, and the best writers were the ones with the imiagination to move on the Spongebob no-saga saga.[​IMG] They reminded me of the great WB directors, and had clever in-jokes [​IMG]. I reccomend you get Seasons 2 & 3 boxsets to prove my point. If you've had enough of Squidward's "yellow headache", then maybe going to TV.com to see a list of Seasons 2 & 3 episdoes to catch in the countless reruns would be easier.


    Spongebob was established by then, and was in its prime. I laughed at more Season 2 & 3 episodes than the later ones. The only best ones of the post-movie era were "Sun Bleached" and "Spongebob vs. The Patty Gadget".


    Dan Povemerie (spelling?) and C.H. Greenblatt were some great writers. Too bad, that like Avery's move to MGM, that they got rivals to work for.
