You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

It's hard enough for someone to think Tom Brady is God, but...

...for someone to dog me when standing-up for them? I'm sorry for being a Good Samaritan! Maybe I don't need Facebook! It seems Facebook needs me!

As a frame of reference, I never had a Facebook or Myspace account. Or Twitter, for that matter. They strike me as the virtual version of The View, except it's five million women and almost as many mama's boys chattering inanely all at once, and nobody's listening. Although, curiously, a waitress at my breakfast haunt has made me a Facebook celebrity: she posts pics that I sketch on my register tapes to her Group. Second-hand fame is good enough for me.

Well...I get support from my friends. I'm certain that they'll get theirs in the end.

Maybe when I see a good post about something, I'll send it to my page and let my friend share their opinions rather then total strangers who don't give a damn about me!

I still blame myself for your decision, since I'm the only one on Facebook you chat with regularly.

Thanks. But I'm still the only who talks with you on Facebook.

I use Facebook, but to prevent myself from getting harassed, I simply use the unfollow feature with regards to friends and certain groups I am in. The only groups I follow are those for Filmation and Hanna-Barbera, but otherwise I unfollow the rest of my contacts and groups.

Also, if anybody tries to bully me, or if anybody posts images I find disgusting or I simply refuse to see, I will block them pronto. I do have a fairly big list of blocked users.

    Well...

...there's less jerkdom there right now...but I did encounter one that told me to "take-off your rose-tinted glasses and go back to school"...well I'm sorry that I think life was better in the past than it is now!

    Well...

I may stay on Facebook since I went to one of the churches I was a member of and the intern pastor/elder told a story about how he posted something when there wasn't any snow when his city jumped the gun...and he got a lot of negative posts. He's my lawyer and I told him my bouts on some people on there.

Even my dad said people have opinions and...what people call Dennis Leary. We all have them and they can stink!

Well, about the "rose-tinted glasses" remark: here's a photo of a McDonald's menu from 1972 that lists most of the food items offered. Nothing on that menu is above $1, with coffee at 15¢.

I'm now getting dogged for my faith...this is why I like coming here...no religious or political drama!

You all respect my faith (which is Lutheran...AKA...Diet Catholic) so...that's all that matters.

And...that's why I'm hesitant to see my sister and brother-in-law...we don't see eye-to-eye.
