You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Police: Movie, TV legend James Garner dies - SFGate

Famous movie and tv star, usually playing affiable if rascally good guys.

"Maverick" was a twist in the western genre in that Bret Maverick used his wits and poker playing skills to defeat the bad guys rather than using a gun.

"Nicholls" was a one-season series about a gambler and con man in the West who was reluctantly appointed the sheriff of a town and who rode a motorcycle as the setting was the early 1900's. Nicholls used the sheriff office more for personal gain. At the final episode of the season, Nicholls was killed off and his more honorable twin brother took over as a sheriff as a traditionally heroic lawman to satisfy NBC executives who were undecided about renewing the show...the series was cancelled after season 1 anyhow.

"The Rockford Files" had Garner playing wrongly convicted ex-con Jim Rockford turned private investigator who also didn't use a gun ("I just like to point it") and preferred to play con games against the bad guys and avoid trouble (yeah, right) in investigating his cases.

As a twist in the tv detective genre, Rockford broke the rules.
If Rockford got into a fist fight, he would likely break the bones in his hand than beating up the bad guys. His office/home is an old trailer on the beach, his clients often didn't pay his detective fees, his father Rocky (Noah Beery Jr) didn't understand what his son did for a living, the police hated him for taking cases marked "closed" by them, his best friend Sgt Dennis Becker (Joe Santos) of the police department helped Rockford out begrudgingly, and his friend and chronic con man Angel (Stuart Margolin) usually caused more trouble than being helpful.

For his role as Commander Rourke in "Atlantis: The Lost Empire" for Disney, he got to play a bad guy for a change.

Garner played a laidback, casually dressed God in the NBC animated series "God, The Devil, and Bob".

From natural causes. Garner had suffered a stroke in 2008.
