You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Entertainment legend June Lucille Forer (June Foray) passed away on Wednesday 26 July 2017 in Los Angeles, two months shy of her 100th birthday. She earned global renown for her cartoon voice characterizations, placing her on equal par with colleague Mel Blanc. Her credits are as diverse as they are numerous, including Tweety Bird's owner Granny; Witch Hazel; Rocket J. Squirrel; Rocky's nemesis, Natasha Fatale; Dudley Do-Right's favorite girl, Nell; and tiny Cindy Lou Who, who confronts the thieving Grinch in "Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas." There are many comprehensive bios on Ms. Foray, including her own books on her amazing career. I learned from her Wikipedia page that she began her career in voice-work at age 15, and had made her first appearance on radio at 12!! In addition to animation, she lent her voice to television and film, including the nightmare-inducing Twilight Zone episode "Living Doll" (1963), in which she rendered the voice of the Talky Tina doll that menaced the mean-hearted stepdad played by Telly Savalas. She was a natural choice—Ms. Foray had been the voice for Mattel's Chatty Cathy doll which had been brought to market three years ealier. She continued working into the new century; often doing the voice of Granny; a veteran who would seemingly be with us forever. Fond wishes to her family, friends, and co-workers. She will never be forgotten—there is simply too large a treasure of her work. The attached is a personal favorite among her characters: the formidable Millicent (or as Elmer would say, Miwwicent) from WB's "Rabbit Romeo." Good-bye, June Foray, and thank you.

Yesterday would've been her 100th birthday if she was still with us... I feel bad for people who didn't make the 100 mark on earth...
