You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

I was at the Feast of the Assumption yesterday with not much dough and I can't get any more from an ATM Machine, so it's either go to the bank...or just use what you can. I had no choice but to use what I can, next time I'm going to the bank!

But what I want to talk about is Italian Food. The Feast of the Assumption is celebrated by many Italians and Non-Italians alike, but also many cartoons have either an Italian theme or cartoons eating Italian Food....

In "Family Guy"'s episode "McStroke", Peter and Brian try to order some Italian meats, cheeses, and bread but Peter talks to the owner in fake Italian.
In many LT cartoons like Charlie the Dog's "A Hound for Trouble", Charlie steps-in as a waiter to feed the customer spaghetti and wine...that he made with his own feet! In Sylvester and Tweety's "A Pizza Tweety Pie", Sylvester just decides that birds are off his list, but spaghetti isn't!
In two Woody Woodpecker cartoons, spaghetti was mentioned. The first one was "Wacky-Bye Baby" where Woody puts in a ball in Wally Walrus' spaghetti and the other is "Operation Sawdust" where Buzz Buzzard and Woody Woodpecker eat spaghetti and Buzz accidently eats Woody!
There was also a scene in "It was a Short Summer Charlie Brown" where the spaghetti is basically what Henry Hill said in "The Goodfellas"...egg noodles and ketchup, even Snoopy would agree!
Speaking of Goodfellas...there was an "Animaniacs" episode that was in an Italian Restaurant with Marlon Brando as the Godfather with bad garlic breath (I wish I knew what the name of the episode was...)
In "Tiny Toons"' "How I Spent My Summer Vacation", Babs sings a Traditional Italian song and uses Italian foods like Veal Parmesan.
Speaking of Ketchup...The "South Park" episode called "Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo", a lot of s'ghetti is used...especially in the climax scene where Cartman and Honey Boo Boo fight in it!
This also includes Pizza, for example...Phillip J. Fry worked as a Pizza Delivery Boy in "Futurama".
And then there's Garfield...who loves Lasagna, Pizza, Spaghetti, and perhaps a Cannoli, almost every episode has a reference to an Italian Dish.

Is there any other cartoons that have Italian Food or even an Italian theme to it? (I'm surprised that no character has eaten a cannoli yet).

Neapolitan Mouse - El mouso fortissimo!
Scooby Doo must of eaten a stack of Pizza's at one time?
Barney Bear's Hungry cousin eats a whole bunch of sausage links? Or are those hot dog links?

The sausage link gag must be in quite a few toons? Tom and Jerry's picnic with the ants?

Let's see, there was pizza aplenty in Loonatics Unleashed, season one. Tech Coyote had a cold pizza that needed a quick reheat, so Ace Bunny obliged with his heat vision. Later, an alien symbiote attached to a pizza delivery boy, turning him into a supervillain.

Oh, and this one cartoon, mostly mute, about an alien kid that visits Earth and meets a little girl who serves him a plate of spaghetti. Since they don't have the stuff on the alien's world, he made a guess about what to do with spaghetti: he strung a long strand around his fingers to play Cat's Cradle. I loved that li'l guy. :D
