You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

I saw this years ago, when I first seen some Mike Jittov's works.
A real life guy is coughing while he is going into the bathroom. he looks in the medicine cabinet. He then sees a claymation bottle with the cutist face. Something like "the March of the Tin Souldiers" plays in the BG. The bottle offers to help so the guy takes a spoonful of it's contents. He then gasps and falls to the floor. We then see the bottle turn around to show the word poison on it's bottom. FYI there is no dialog.
Has anyone else seen this short? Is it availble online?

Many moons ago, I saw a frame of this thing in a magazine about film & animation. I forget the name of the mag, but the caption under the frame said, "Elixer." The image was pretty disturbing so naturally I had to draw it. The bathroom accoutrements surrounding the little monster are my own invention (the published frame depicted just him). I've never seen the film and have no other info to share, so really, I owe you a thank-you for helping to solve a 30-year mystery. I always suspected he was evil, and now I know. He still hangs on my wall...

I was looking through an archive of Starlog magazines and came across this issue

    http://archive.org/...starlog_magazine-026

and on page 55 it has almost the same photo. I came in 2nd place for their SF short film search. It also gives the name of the creator:

    Pat Cannon
