You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

I rented a DVD of this cartoon called Microscopic Milton with the movie called Watership Down which since the disc wasn't in acceptable condition watched inbetween splices, just very recently from the library, and apparently, as i strongly recall, this aired in french in 2004 on Tele Quebec, which is where i caught exactly the end snippet of a beige shaggy red nosed dog who exactly resembled Nicky the Dog, and the end credits had this lickety-splat red explosion (poor recalling at the time right now), and the date said it was from 1999, when i rented this DVD, at the circus episode, i completly know what i saw that bit back (in 2004) that time was INDEED from Microspoic Milton, so now that i truly know what the cartoon is, here's my TRUE thoughts:

The animation is litteraly Katie and Orbie with more animation (albeit really choppy, clunky and extremely eccesively stiff) and inbetweens (on twos) rather than just static animatic layouts fading into one pose to another, the background painting technique and colors are very bland, dull, stilted and extremely artless, the timing and narration is execcivesly slow, dull, and really stagnat, not to mention stiff, the stories are very sedate, bland, dull, stagnant, and very lazy and yawn-inducing.

But just about the most offensive thing i find about this cartoon is the whole Art Direction!, let me just say this: Take Ralph Bakshi, TTV Underdog, Jay Ward, Roger Ramjet, Jim Davis and all the drawings from those hazardous Christopher Hart books (seriously, no offense, literally and hopefully no harm done) lump, model and paturize it all into one and you get this: all i can say is that it's just plain lousy and ludicurious, the linework was hideous xeroxed junk, and the digital execution is really something extremely naive and ludicurious for something made in 1997, it clearly looked like something from 1989 instead and it was pretty crude and obniouxous to look at, SHEESH!

Overall: the whole cartoon, in my opinion, is just plain BORING and extremely hideous, defiently NOT worth watching or remembering, let alone resarching for nothing in the end but pure CRAP!, just my two cents here.
