You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Some years ago, I was sent a YouTube link of a cartoon show. Fast forward to today, and I only (barely) remember 3 characters, 1 location, and 2 bits of conversation. I found the show pretty funny and entertaining, but neglected to save any information on it.

Here's what I know, and what I think I know:
    Maybe:

    • The show was a school/high school setting, like Recess, or Daria
    • The non-nerd character I'm about to mention is the main character, the nerds are side characters
    • The location I'm about to mention is an abandoned base like the Principality of Sealand, which the nerds have occupied
    Definitely:
    • 3 male characters: A main nerd with a scrawny physique, a nerd subordinate, and an average-looking non-nerd that gets advice from the nerds
    • The nerds spoke about establishing a micronation as a base of operations, and presumably did so à la Sealand
    • The non-nerd and the main nerd communicate at distance, seeing eachother on monitors
    • The main nerd, while speaking to the non-nerd, said that he spotted an important clue to some mystery they're trying to solve, while reviewing the transcript of their previous conversation (this part really got me, and is the reason I'm looking for it now)
There's not that much to go by, but the two conversation pieces are very unique, and should be sufficient to identify the show... if anyone knows about it at all, because it's apparently obscure (My Google-fu is fairly strong, but clearly insufficient in this case). Mad props if you manage to crack the code.

I found it by total accident, while trying to find something to watch in the weekend: Undergrads.
It's a college cartoon, and Gimpy (the main nerd) is still amazing. Too bad there are so few episodes.
