You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

I'm so desperate to find this film.

It was created with paper stop-motion animation, I saw it once back in (I believe) 1995. The only scene I can remember vividly was the main character being led into Hell by a guide named "Jojo". Jojo stops at the entrance to Hell, where the sign "Abandon hope, all ye who enter here" is shown. Jojo says "This will be your Heaven and your Hell!"

The man is led to a large cavern where many men are banded together with their arms over each other's shoulders in a seemingly endless line. The men move from side to side while still holding each other's shoulders. The main character recognizes one of the men as a friend of his and calls out to him, the man he recognized manages to choke out "You... bastard" as a response.

The main character loses track of Jojo at this point and screams his name multiple times in an attempt to find him. He wakes up from a dream screaming at the top of his lungs.

Everytime I try to search for this movie, the internet pulls up a million and one results for "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure". I nix the words "bizarre" and "adventure" and I get a million and one results for literally every idiotic thing on the internet today.

If anyone can help me, I'll be eternally grateful.

A Dante-esque paper animation trip to Hell,...

    Possibly,..

    Angry George Irons (93)

I've seen this short once several years ago
A bitter man George Irons sits in his his shabby house, angry at the world.
He's visited by a spiritual guide who escorts him through his own house which has had both locations in Heaven and Hell superimposed over his familiar surroundings.
He's led into his laundry room which now stretches out to fit hundreds of newly arrived souls. They surrender their garments and the garments are put into the wash. Any stains that remain are sins that are interpreted by the judge.
George is then led to the root cellar which is now the first circle of Hell where the damned are stored for eternity. Their torture; simple unending boredom. The damned stand there , unmoving , bored stiff. They mumble under their breath "tic-tock". George tried to talk to a nearby soul and the damned shrieks out"TICK-TOCK!,..TICK, TOCK!!..."showing that his mind shattered long ago.

Later George is escorted upstairs where the skylight opens up on the edge of Heaven and he's given a vision from his past.
George's bitterness comes from assuming he was abandoned by his uncaring parents. He was found on a scrap pile by a priest when he was an infant and raised in an orphanage.
The vision shows him the truth. His parents doted on their newborn son. They loved him dearly. Their house was built above a forgotten mine and one day it began to collapse. His parents only had a second to act. His mother's final act was to call out "Someone (or Heaven ?) save my baby !", and throw him out the window to safety as the house fell .
Now that he knew the truth, he set about cleaning up and repairing his home. His faith in the world and in himself renewed.
