You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Savage Banana Brutality.

I can't believe I found out about this today. Apparently, the Syfy Channel wants to make a TV-movie that stars the Banana Splits in a horror/slasher film. Considering that the show followed Standards And Practices, and the cartoons and Danger Island had less violence than the previous superhero cartoons, this comes as a total shock. Is it any wonder I haven't watched that channel in years?

Well, SyFy seems to be playing the Gone Horribly Wrong trope with this production. There was buzz about The Happytime Murders, which explored some of the darker, grittier aspects of the muppet world. Here we have the goofy suit garage band TV pablum of The Banana Splits, long since passed over and off the air, deciding to go killer zombie on the ingrates. I'll admit, it's a not-nice take on the ol' group, but the box office mojo for this kind of fare exists, so ... play to the market.

I'd like to see the lawsuits that'd come for that!

At one point...I wanted my show that I wanna make in the future Everything Happens in Bertstown to be on Adult Swim, have it animated, and have a H-B character or two like Loopy be the protagonist's friend/father figure and Space Ghost do the news...but I 86ed that idea and made it live-action, think of Goodfellas if it was a comedy.

I have plenty of ideas for that show, and Loopy de Loop as well as other H-B characters will have a spot...on the TV! In the Pilot episode, which is what I wanna call "The Pilot...Literal-Lee"! I'd like to show the clip where the pigs insult Loopy and he says "How do they know my father"? (It's a call-and-answer to the "your mama" jokes in the 90's)!

The last episode of my show would have the Loopy cartoon "Big Mouse-Take" where the cat and mice shout "we want dinner"...that has a sentimental side because my mom (God Rest Her Soul) and my uncle did something like that and...put marks on the dining room table!

I feel SyFy isn't what it used to be!
