You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

The Pink Panther had been a well-established cartoon star for twenty years when Hanna-Barbera produced "The Pink Panther And Sons." Here, the sons upstaged their dear old nonverbal dad.

Pinky and Panky headed the Rainbow Club. The other cubs were green, blue, purple, orange, and yellow. How's that for diversity? And no, there were no black panthers, probably because H-B thought that species would be too scary for the series.

I never actually saw this. Not because I didn't like the idea, but because my Saturday morning viewing schedule was diminished by 1984. I did see some shows, but most of the time, I was tuned in to MTV, waiting for the latest videos by Duran Duran and Bon Jovi.

The show was gone as silently as the Pink Panther himself. It hasn't even aired in reruns since it left the airwaves. Oh well.

Trivia Question 17: What type of clothing did Pinky and Panky wear?

Friz Freleng was a creative consultant for the series.
DePatie-Freleng (later changed to Marvel Productions) was the usual producers of the Pink Panther cartoons. The 1990s weekday Pink Panther series was animated by MGM-UA Animation.

There were two "Rainbow Panther" cartoons and one silent "Pink Panther" short in between in each half hour.

Teenaged Pinky (Billy Bowles, later the voice of Q*Bert in "Saturday Supercade") and baby Panky (BJ Ward) shared adventures with their Rainbow Panthers friends: green mush-mouthed Murfle (Shane McCob), tough yellow Rocco (Frank Welker), mixed up blue Punkin (BJ Ward), sensible orange tomboy Anney (Jeannie Elias), and purple talkative Chatta (Sherry Lynn)).

Their enemies were Finko the lion with the color-dyed mane (Frank Welker), Howl (Marshall Efron) , Liona (Jeannie Elias), Buckethead (Greg Berger), and Bowlhead (Sonny Melendrez).

The silent Pink Panther shorts has the Little Man with the mustache matching wits with the Panther in short skits...with Hanna-Barbera sound effects.

One guest voice actor was Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy LaSorda in most likely a baseball-themed story.

Shirts. Pinky did not wear pants. Panky wore a very loose-fitting diaper.

I never saw this cartoon...was it on CBS? If so, then I didn't see it...I was more focused on the NBC Shows in the mid-80's.
