You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Marvel Studios' live-action The Avengers set a huge opening box-office record in North America over the weekend. The sixth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe grossed $200.3 million in North America alone, and $641.8 million worldwide.

Here are some incarnations of the superheroes in animation:

Captain America (The Marvel Superheroes Show; Grantray-Lawrence Animation, 1966)
The Avengers figured in numerous episodes of this segment of the Canadian-made The Marvel Superheroes Show, which aired in syndication.

The Incredible Hulk (The Marvel Superheroes Show; Grantray-Lawrence Animation, 1966)
Ditto. Once again, no voice actor info for the Avengers is available.

    Avengers (Marvel Entertainment/Saban Entertainment, 1999)
After an absence of over three decades, the Avengers returned to animation with a (groan) vengeance, but only for 13 episodes! In this FOX series (aka Avengers United), Ant Man, the Wasp, Hawkeye, Wonder Man, the Scarlet Witch, Tigra, Vision and the Falcon battled Earth's greatest threats. Voice actors included Linda Ballantyne (Wasp/Janet Van Dyne), Tony Daniels (Hawkeye/Clint Barton), Hamish McEwan (Wonder Man/Simon Williams), Ron Rubin (Vision), Martin Roach (Falcon/Sam Wilson), John Stocker (Ultron), Rod Wilson (Ant-Man/Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym), Lenore Zann (Tigra/Greer Grant Nelson) and Stavroula Logothettis (Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff).

    The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes(Marvel Animation/Film Roman Productions, 2010)
This aired for half-hour episodes on DisneyXD in the United States and Teletoon in Canada. In some cases, five-minute mini-episodes combined to form story arcs. When the planet is threatened by Super Villains, time-traveling conquerors, alien invaders, mythical monsters or mad robots bent on the total destruction of humanity; when the forces of evil are so overwhelming that no single hero has the power to save the world; when there is no hope left… the Avengers assemble! Voice actors included Colleen O'Shaughnessey (Janet Van Dyne/The Wasp), Rick Wasserman (Thor), Eric Loomis (Tony Stark/Iron Man), Dawn Olivieri (Pepper Potts), Fred Tatasciore (The Hulk, Jerome Beechman/Mandrill), Wally Wingert (Hank Pym/Ant-Man, Giant-Man), Gabriel Mann (Bruce Banner), Alex Desert (Nick Fury) and Kari Wahlgren (Amora/Enchantress).
