You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

I'm sure many of you remember the classic 1983-1987 G.I. Joe cartoon series produced by Marvel Productions, in association with Sunbow Entertainment and Claster Television. Perhaps the most famous aspect of the show (the main series, from 1985-1987) were the public service announcements/safety tips seen at the end of each episode. (In some cases, the show is more well-known for those PSAs rather than the episodes themselves!) At least 35 of these were made; almost every G.I. Joe member starred in at least one PSA. The most famous one used was Flint (in fact, when Family Guy once parodied the G.I. Joe PSAs in "North by North Quahog," they had Flint appear to give Chris and his friends a PSA about alcohol abuse, complete with original voice actor!) In recent years, these PSAs have also spawned some hilarious parodies/dubovers on the Internet, most famoulsy the ones by Fenslerfilm (remember, "Porkchop sandwiches!!!" and "Who wants a body massage?", etc.) Here are all the original PSAs, undubbed. First up, the more well-known PSAs from the 1985 season...

Here are the PSAs that were created during the 1986 season. They feature slightly different animation (though it's still done in Japan by Toei Animation), and they all use the same music in each one (instead of varying in each PSA), and they all feature the complete G.I. Joe logo animation at the end (the 1985 PSAs usually cut it short.)

Around the same time, the Transformers series had a few similar PSAs made, some nearly word-for-word (complete with the "Knowing is half the battle" catchphrase), but they never aired, but have resurfaced as an unlockable extra in a Transformers video game, and on DVD. Also, in 1987, "Jem and the Holograms" featured similar PSAs as well, also sometimes word-for-word, but using a different catchphrase: "Doing the right thing makes you a super star!"

I just thought I'd share these
