You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

According to Zap2It.com, Cartoon Network's now defunct action toon, Jay Stephens' The Secret Saturdays, will be joining Boomerang's schedule starting Dec. 5th.

The show was deathslotted and subsequently pulled from CN's lineup because the series failed to boost sales on its' companion toy line.

I know some people may have a problem with a show as recent as TSS coming to Boom, but it doesn't bother me; the show has a 'retro' look to it, recalling 1960's cult comics as well as Hanna-Barbera toons of that era such as Jonny Quest. Also, before anyone says "this show is too recent to be airing on Boomerang!", keep in mind that Da Boom is currently airing Ben 10, Teen Titans and various Cartoon-Cartoons. I personally don't think of Boomerang as strictly a baby boomer's channel anymore--it hasn't been that for some time now. Boom is basically CN's recycle bin, so this is just par for the course as far as I'm concerned. Also, this will make fans of the show who felt TSS was ended prematurely very happy. (At this point I wouldn't be surprised to see Chowder, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Batman: The Brave and the Bold and Sym-Bionic Titan come to Boom within the next 2 years.)

My only gripe with this is that with this latest move, Turner really has no excuse not to air the likes of Megas XLR or Foster's Home for Imaginary Freinds on Da Boom. The Secret Saturdays debuted after both of these shows, so why aren't they airing on Boom as well? For that matter, why not run Space Ghost: Coast to Coast or Cartoon Planet on Boomerang for a mild point of variety?

(I also feel it's high time that Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy came to Boomerang, but I realize that there could legal/ownership restrictions preventing that from happening; Ed3 was not produced by Cartoon Network Studios, and is technically property of AKA Cartoon in Vancouver.)
