You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Since everyone's talking about The Coronavirus, I thought of cartoons where a cartoon character is bed-ridden or is ill.

One cartoon from Tom and Jerry called Polka-Dot Puss comes to mind as well as a cartoon from the U.S. Acres/Orson's Farm called "Swine Trek" where Orson catches a cold and has a dream about a Star Trek-like fantasy...and ironically both Garfield and Friends and Star Trek are BOTH owned by CBS/Viacom.

Not exactly an illness, but at least temporarily disabled, was Hair-Breath Hurry, where Bugs Bunny substituted for the Road Runner, who reported "sprained a giblet".

The Flintstones had episodes in which Wilma, Betty, Pebbles, and Bamm-Bamm contracted measles. An episode of Lassie's Rescue Rangers, "Lost" focused on a young boy who caught pneumonia while he was lost in the woods. Finally, there was an episode of Star Trek: The Animated Series, "Albatross" in which the whole crew except for Spock and Dr. McCoy suffered from a strange ailment that turned their faces blue!

    Here's one...

The Fox and Crow's Be Patient Patient...though The Fox isn't sick, The Crow makes The Fox think he's sick.

Then there's a Hubie and Bertie cartoon called The Hypo-Condri-Cat where Hubie and Bertis make Claude Cat think he's ill and goes through surgery.

    Here's two more...

In the Muppet Babies ep "Slipping Beauty", Miss Piggy gets the chicken pox and spends time away from the others as Nanny takes care of her.

There's actually a few episodes in Rugrats that illness is the main structure...

In "Slumber Party", Angelica leaves the window open which makes her cousin Tommy get ill and he catches the flu as we as gastroenteritis since Tommy vomits all over his cousin Angelica.
In "Chuckie Loses His Glasses", Angelica wears Chuckie's glasses and gets so nauseated that she vomits on her father Drew's sweater.
In "Angelica Breaks a Leg", Angelica fakes a leg injury because the rest of The Pickles Family that she's staying with are busy with projects or TV Shows.
In "Rhinocertitis", Angelica makes Chuckie think he's gonna be a rhinoceros...but it's Angelica that gets the case of rhinocertitis.
In "Chicken Pops", Chuckie gets the chicken pox.

But I have a better cartoon where a character gets the chicken pox....

In the cartoon Dexter's Laboratory ep called "Chicken Scratch"...Dexter has the Chicken Pox and Dee Dee said that if Dexter starts scratching...he'll become a chicken. Dexter tries to resist scratching, but...he becomes a chicken!
