You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Any of you guys know or remember this one?

Well, i've played the arcade game WAY before i eventually started to watch the original cartoon in it's entirely and this was the creation of Talented TMNT veteran Ryan Brown, and the show ran for two seasons, in fact if you know the series TMNT connection - you'll notice they appeared in an issue of the more recent TMNT comics and an episode of the Fast Forward series...but then i haven't watched the new TMNT series nor it's Fast Forward season, so i can't always be "Mr Know-It-All".

The intro sequence is pretty strong and fluid, lots of action going on and pretty slick maneuvering going on...... while the actual episode animation retains the exact same execution it's strangely not quite as smooth or slick, and the first season actual episode animation moves choppy and pretty weak and sluggish, weird...

The first season was done by Gunther-Wahl Productions, they are more well known producing The Angry Beavers for Nickelodeon rather than other works, well now i know they did Moo Mesa's first season and Season 2 was done by Ruby Spears Productions....

In case you didn't know, the animation for the Gunther-Wahl episodes (season 1) was done by usual Korean-based A.D Productions (were they subcontractors for Japanese animation?, just like DongWoo and Koko Enterprises.), & the Ruby Spears episodes were done by the way more well-known Taiwan-based Wang Film Productions/Cuckoo's Nest Studio....

As for my own critique, the cartoon series proper at times to me feels a lot like a ABC One-Too Afternoon Cartoon and the underscore at the same time also feels a lot like Phillip Schieb's stuff from classic-era Terrytoons and also very weirdly i've enjoyed the game a LOT more than the actual series, that scientifically factually proves an instance where a licensed computer game is actually FAR MORE better than the original material (be it, animated series, cartoon, print etc.)

Anyone know why the production switch happened?.

I suspect Gunther-Wahl Productions (if there is one thing, is that they are really obscure-known, other than it's the studio of Lee Gunther of DePatie Freleng and Michael Wahl from Bill Melendez Productions?.) was extremely low-rent in affording to improve their animation work on their series, in spite of having a fair amount of Golden-Age Animation staffers, and Greengrass Productions wanted superior animation and a better animation studio with a decent budget to do the production duties instead of having Gunther-Wahl of continuing the series and thus they had Ruby-Spears Productions to do the series' second season......

And unfortunately this series is not on DVD/Blu-Ray yet, and they are still circulating the tapes, but episodes of the first season were released on official VHS tapes at one point or another......
