You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

despicable_me_3.jpg Universal announced the release date for the follow up to the Academy-Award nominated Despicable Me 2; Despicable Me 3 will hit theaters on June 30, 2017. No other information for the film, like cast or storyline have been announced. Two other films were announced at thew same time– an original story and a reboot of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

The Despicable Me franchise is built around the central character of Gru, a reformed evil scientist once bent on taking over the world, now just trying to get his three daughters to bed on time. Gru (voiced by Steve Carell) was joined by Lucy (Kristen Wiig) in Despicable Me 2, but there is no word if either are returning for Despicable Me 3.

The big surprise in the announcement was the reboot of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, to be directed by veteran animator Pete Candeland and scheduled for release Nov. 17, 2017. Illumination has been producing a lot of Dr. Seuss stories recently, in a tick-tock arrangement with the DM films. This will be the third remake of this classic tale, that was originally done so well by Chuck Jones in 1966, and then remade in a live-action film best forgotten.

The third film is as yet untitled, and described as described as an “original animated comedy event about courage, competition and carrying a tune.” It will be written and directed by music video director-turned-film director Garth Jennings and produced by Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy. The film is scheduled for release Dec. 21, 2016.

There is also a DM spin-off in the works. The Minions is currently slated for a July 10, 2015 release, pushed back from a 2014 release last September. In addition to the eponymous yellow creatures, the film will star Sandra Bollock as the villainess.
