Surprisingly, this short actually came first before "Cat Tails for Two" (Which also featured Benny and was Speedy Gonzales first short) I always thought it was the other way around.

Yes, this is the pair of incompetent cats, Sylvester and Benny. I have to chortle at the "giant mouse" concept. What is it with animators and mouse heads? Hippety Hopper is a juvenile kangaroo with a mouse head. Kimba the White Lion has a mouse head. Toodles from Tom and Jerry has a mouse head. It's like Walt Disney railroaded a mouse-head character mandate through Congress.
