Well, bless my begonias, I recognize these lines. Both come from Touchstone Pictures' Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The first is spoken by Bugs Bunny to detective Eddie Valiant. Both are in freefall outside a towering building in Toon Town. The second line comes from Mickey Mouse, also in freefall on Valiant's other hand. They're commenting on how freefall is mortally hazardous to non-toon people, while for toons, it's nothing worse than painful and creates an unsightly Impact Silhouette.

Ah, that's Skiff, from Planet 51.

Yes, that was Skiff who spoke that line, from the animated feature by Ilion Animation, Planet 51. Sadly, it recouped only 61% of its production outlay, and garnered a dismal 21% on Rotten Tomatoes.

"Ya know, the reason we're doing this is because the supermarkets are closed on Thanksgiving."

This was the first line in the Thanksgiving TV special based on a comic strip.

One more clue: This 1973 special is directed by Abe Levitow.

This must be A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, the one where Snoopy gets to play chef, and lays out platefuls of popcorn, toast and jellybeans. Ah, but which character spoke that line? Well, since it's the opening line, I'll posit that Charlie Brown himself said it, in his inimitably pragmatic way.

No, none of the Peanuts specials were directed by Abe Levitow. Therefore, it must be from "B. C: The First Thanksgiving."
