Well, I tried and failed, just like the animated series. The answer is Laurie Partridge, from "Partridge Family: 2200 A. D." Specifically, the episode "Car Trouble," when Danny tried to hide the fact that Keith's car had been wrecked, and then stolen, and everyone else followed his lead.

So now for a quote that'll guarantee success:

Dang, I had a fix on Partridge Family 2200, but couldn't zero in on which sister, and IMDb wasn't much help. I was about to field Susan Dey just to fill space, kind of like Bill Murray in Space Jam.

But this newest quote, I recognize immediately: this is the toy telephone from the day care center in Toy Story 3. Buzz and Woody agree that Andy's toys must escape this horror-hole, but it can't be done unless Lotso's hench-monkey is distracted from watching the surveillance monitors.

Cool. And because Emerald Isle has a way of picking topical quotes, here's one from a November debut:

Yeah, just I as I thought. It's Fred from Scooby Doo. I think this is the Scooby Doo Nutcracker Christmas special. Scrappy is in this one, but oddly enough, so is Fred after a long absence of not being in the show. No Velma though.
