You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Bugs Bunny from "Captain Hareblower." Sam throws a match into the powder room as revenge, but Bugs doesn't go after it, so Sam freaks out. Turns out, talcum powder DOES explode after all.

One of my earlier childhood memories--although later on, I preferred "Buccaneer Bunny" to it. Similar concept--funnier plot.
"I've got it! Remember the story of the three bears? Well why can't we do the same thing? But when Goldilocks goes upstairs to sleep--WHAM!"

Papa Bear, from ''Bugs Bunny and the Three Bears''.In this picture, Goldilocks never shows up.Of course, since Mama made carrot soup instead of porridge, Bugs was sure to take her place.

Yep, I've always been a bit concerned as to what they planned to do with Goldilocks after they beat the crap out of her. Were they going to eat her?
Also, Papa Bear's name is Henry.

Thanks, Bill. Now for a real good one:

Oh, I can almost see this one. It's Hanna-Barbera, I'm certain of that. Some villain has turned the locals into mining slaves, and has his oar-driven boat loaded with gold. As it rows out to sea, the fiend stands atop his hoard, gloating. Then, the flying hero comes along, and points out, "Hey, Gotron! You missed one." One last sack is flung at the villain, which knocks him down, and drives his body through his booty, and out the bottom of his boat. Naturally, the boat sinks, and all the gold with it.

Problem is, I can't remember which hero, so it's wild guessing time: Mighty Mightor. The quote would likely come from his precocious sidekick, or possibly that blonde chief's daughter whose sole purpose in life is to be captured by villains.

Sorry, OUB, but that's not even close to the right answer, aside from being an HB production.

Hint: She's a proactive wife and mom from another planet.

Well then, this has to be Tara, wife of Zandor, of the renowned The Herculoids. Therefore, it must've been Zandor riding upon the flying dragon Zok, that added the one-too-many sacks of gold to Gotron's ship in the episode "The Raider Apes."

Sweet. :) A little late with this one, but better late than never.

"What did I tell you? Moving Day."
    "It can't be!"

"It most certainly can. I don't suppose you've packed."
"But what about Timmy? The chill in the air could kill him."
"Well, my child, that tractor surely will. For the last time, get your family out before it's too late."

Yes, it is, from Don Bluth's The Secret of NIMH. Since Monday 13 September 1937 is Don Bluth's birthday, I figured to cite his ground-breaking animated film.
