Because McDuck makes it a point to travel the globe to amass ever more wealth and treasure; the rich must get richer, after all.

Oh dear, shame on me, I picked a quote that's too obscure. This line was spoken by Michelle, the young badger from Once Upon A Forest. She'd been nearly comatose for most of the story, until her friends returned with medicinal herbs. Her uncle, Cornelius, had been agonizing for two days, and was elated to see his niece alive and well. Apparently, Michelle had no idea that she'd been at death's door for so long, and shrugged off her convalescence as "a long nap."
