You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Yes, these are agent Archer and wannabe Cyril at Archer's place, learning the do-not's of spycraft. From the first season, no less. Good spy work, Saltyboot. :)

Found it. It's Babbit and Catstello, from "A Tale Of Two Kitties." By coincidence, I was thinking of them this morning. Can't believe they actually said that, and it got by the censors!

That's exactly right. A great bit of dialogue there.

Thanks, Salty. Now let's see who can get this set of quotes:

"What would I do without ya? You were the best pal a guy could ever have! Oh, please be alive! I promise ya, uh....uh..."

"All the cheese I can eat?"

"Yeah, all the cheese you can eat."

Oh, this exchange comes from Tom And Jerry, The Movie. The cat and mouse were on the roof of a burning house when it collapsed. Most of the structure ended up in a river, where Tom bobs to the surface. When Tom can't find Jerry, he starts this dialog.

You nailed it again, OUB. Good job. :). You go again. BTW, those Oscar winning icons delivered Oscar worthy dialogue with those lines.

Oh, goody, we're quoting from animated movies again. I love this vein. :)

    "Will you listen to him?
"He's making the story sound like some Greek tragedy."
    "Lighten up, dude."
"We'll take it from here, darling."

Yep, that's exactly who spoke those lines. Right on target, GW. :) Although, I always thought there were nine of them. Meh, budget cuts, what can y' do?

Correct, technically there were nine of them. Then again this is the same movie that presents Hera as Hercules' loving biological mother and Hades as his evil uncle...
Here's a nice dark one from a so called "kids" movie believe it or not...
    "Sign the damn paper, woman!"
    "Go to Hell!"
"Where do you think I come from? Look into my eyes. I wanna see you die."

Correct--"Rango" was one of those movies that when advertised on tv, looked like a goofy animal Western parody. However, the Western is played seriously, and for a "kids" movie, had quite a lot of raunchy jokes, and cursing. Not to mention a menacing villain NOT played for laughs.

Thanks, Glowworm: Time for another good quote:

"Good-bye may seem forever, farewell is like the end. But in my heart's a memory, and there you'll always be."

Oh, that's a good one, by golly. These are the thoughts of Widow Tweed as she takes Todd the fox out to the game preserve, presumably safely away from the spiteful Amos Slade. From Disney's The Fox And The Hound.

Yow, that'll be a tough act to follow. Who do I know that's over-the-toppier than that? Oh, yeah: her.

"When all the world is watching, one does what one must.

That's precisely who spoke these lines, or more rightly, sang these lines: the show poodle Georgette from Disney's Oliver & Company, voiced by the divine Bette Midler, in completely-cured-of-humility mode. :)

Thanks, OUB. And speaking of non-humility mode, I present this quote:

"It's been a piece of cake. The only problem we have is crowd control. We're the hottest act in rock and roll. But you don't have that problem, do you?"
