You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Yep, that's it. One of those quotes that needed to be used.

Thanks, Salty. Now here's another one that needs to be used:

"A duel over me? How romantical!"

Right once again, Glowworm. I hate to admit it, but Bluto was very convincing as The International in that one. Good job. :). Feel free to post a new quote.

I'll agree with you on that one. Bluto was basically a master of disguise. I was never too fond of Popeye but I did like Jackson Beck's take on Bluto best. It was slimy yet charming at the same time.

I was waiting for this one. This is a jilted at the altar Bugs Bunny, in tears because greedy gold-digger Sam refuses to marry someone with a powderpuff tail, fifty million dollars notwithstanding. From the 1953 cartoon by Isadore "Friz" Freleng, "Hare Trimmed."

I think it was more because who he was marrying turned out to be Bugs, not Granny. Poor Bugs--stop ripping your long dress skirts on things causing your cotton tail to be exposed.

All-righty, if it's still okay to have a romance glorked like that, then this quote is in play.

"Go to premiere: check. Land a big part: check. Get the girl? Check."
    "Darling! Sweetheart! Celebrity!"

"Get a picture, boys, these kids are going to be big!"

Had to see it all the way through just to get the answer. It's Sawyer, the director, and L. B. Mammoth, from "Cats Don't Dance."

That's precisely where these lines come from, Em. Heavens to Murgatroyd, I hope watching the feature Cats Don't Dance didn't inconvenience you terribly. It happens to be one of my personal faves. :sheepish:

That's obvious from all the quotes you posted. Now for one of my faves:

"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways! One one thousand! Two one thousand!"

Reading from Marvin Acme's Last Will and Testament, this is the love poem to Jessica written and recited by Roger Rabbit while bouncing on detective Eddie Valiant's Murphy bed. From the Medium Blending feature Who Framed Roger Rabbit in 1992.

Well, you got the movie and character right, but not the year. WFRR was released in 1988. Still, good job. :).

So it was. And I'll stop quoting from CDD, since I've done that five times already. Where haven't we tapped yet? Oh, yeah, there:

    "Finally, one of my people."
    "Get off the desk, duck."
"I love you. I want to take you away from all this. You're a veritable kaleidoscope of colors!"

Being fair, only one of these quotes comes from an animation legend.

I actually knew this one without having to look it up. I've seen this clip once. Basically Daffy Duck wanders into Drew Carey's work place wanting a job. He then falls in love with Mimi--who may not be a cartoon character--but she certainly dresses like one.

The kaleidoscope of colors helped me ring that bell.

That's exactly where this quote comes from: an intro sequence from The Drew Carey Show. Daffy Duck takes one look at Mimi Bobek and sees his Aphrodite. He's thoroughly smitten on the spot.

Just in case you want to see it again, it's on Youtube:

Yeah, I stumbled upon that clip while back in college--thought it was hilarious. Watched it again to make sure it was indeed where your quote was from, and still got a good laugh from it. I love how no one really bats an eye when Daffy wanders into the workplace.

Hint--the character in question is helping out a skunk looking for love in all the wrong places.
