5) Nor did Hasbro produce this character, although he rides a trusty steed. I have no idea what this critter is, though it functions much like a horse. Equestria would likely have trouble categorizing this beast as well.

6) Nor did Lucasfilm Limited produce this character, though his companion wields a lightsaber. Although, he doesn't call it that.

Edit made, it's the associate that wields the weapon, not the Mystery Character himself.

6. In the episode :"Mind Pollution," she and her cousin Boris get hooked on Bliss. Sadly, Boris dies after taking a fatal overdose.

1) This character appears regularly in an animated television series. More than one, in fact. While any one series may have stopped production, there's every indication that some iteration of the franchise will continue.

2) While this character is female, she routinely accompanies one or more heroes on dangerous missions, risking life and limb in the cause of Liberty. She gets her hands dirty, so to speak.

3) Further, this character is not the only active-duty female. She is, however, the highest ranking one, regardless of producer. In any case, the Smurfette Principle is averted.

Hmm, not quite the character I had in mind, but Lady Jaye does meet all of the clues' criteria ... I think. Is Lady Jaye the only active combatant in the Joe series? If not, then it's Glowworm's point under the Minus 8 Rule.
