You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

The Mystery Cartoon Character Game, ongoing-ier.

This one's easy. It's Ala Bahma from Case of the Missing Hare.

Yep, Ala Bahma from "Case of the Missing Hare."
    1. Ala Bahma makes the mistake of earning Bugs' wrath after nailing a poster over his home--which oddly enough is a tree in this short.
    2. A play on both Ali Baba of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and Alabama.
    3. To produce a rabbit out of his hat, Ala Bahma says the magic words "Roota, Voota, Zoot!"
Amusingly enough, when this one really good Italian restaurant first opened up near us, there was a waiter who's accent reminded my father of Ala Bahma, and he used to constantly mimic the man's accent--he still does, although that guy doesn't work there anymore.

    Ok, here I go.

    I was arrested for contraband.
As a result, I was banned from my community.
My ruler wants to destroy my new friends.

    Three more.

I am not human, but my friends are.
    I get turned into stone.
This is not a Disney film, but the director did briefly work for the company.

I think I recognise this one - it's Mr Tumnus, the faun from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, which was animated in 1979 by Bill Melendez Productions.

That's correct, it's Stanley the troll!

He was arrested for having flowers.
The queen banned him to Central Park.
He befriends a human brother and sister.
The queen tries to destroy them.
    Stanley gets turned into stone.
The director is Don Bluth, who worked for Disney for a couple of years.

    Take it away.

Thanks, I have seen the Nostalgia Critic's hilarious review of it.

Time to have a little fun...

    1. My best--and most likely only friend is probably mentally challenged.
    2. I work at a crappy job as a cook in a fast food joint.
    3. My coworker hates my guts.

Yeah, It's Spongebob Squarepants--although I was using the clues based off this popular internet joke where someone is talking about how much his life sucks. The joke varies a bit sometimes, but it generally describes how the person works a dead end job, keeps failing his driver's license test, his boss is a greedy jerk, his coworker hates him, his best friend is most likely mentally handicapped, there's a cute Southern girl he likes, but she's out of his league. The punch line is "And the worst part is, I live in a pineapple under the sea." There is a similar joke with Fred from Scooby Doo describing his life in much of the same way.

So yeah, those clues were basically what I was going for.

I've never heard that joke (mostly because I really dislike Spongebob), so I wouldn't know. Anyway, here's something that popped into my head last night:

    1. I'm a redheaded reporter
    2. My associate and I accidentally wind up accompanying the hero on his journey
    3. The series I'm from is very loosely based on a famous novel

    Correct, Em. You're up.

(this part is just filler because of the 30 character rule)

Thanks, Fluidgirl. Now here's another good one:

    1. I meet the title character when the rainbow disappears.

    2. Like The Great Gazoo on "The Flintstones,"," my magic keeps getting my human friends in trouble.

    3. The name of my homeland was most likely inspired by "Finian's Rainbow," and "Brigadoon."

Yes, Glowworn, that's it. Now to explain:

    1. Punky Brewster met him, and decided to keep him as a second pet after the rainbow faded.

    2. Self-explanatory.

    3. That's never been confirmed; it's just a theory of my own.

So you go again, Glowworm. Good job. :)

Why they felt the cartoon needed a leprechaun gopher, I'll never know...
    1. I am an online cartoon character, and an internet sensation.
    2. My shorts revolve around my mischievous antics--and constantly end with me pointing to my mouth for food.
    3. I do not talk, I mew and purr, and make other noises.
