We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

The Mystery Cartoon Character Game, ongoing-ier.

Oh, cool. :) Hmm, this series has been tapped before, but somehow this character got missed. Time to amend that.

    1) This character is a recurring character in a regularly televised animated series no longer in production. Perhaps "recurring" isn't the right word; stalwart is closer to the mark, since this character gets about as much screen time as the main characters.

    2) This character isn't American. Nope, not even close. Nevertheless, he runs around loose in the US of A unimpeded.

    3) By the same mechanism that gives mad scientists cute lab assistants, this character gets a curvy henchgirl. And by henchgirl, I'm implying that this character is a no-goodnik.

Ah, there's just one man like that. Boris Badenov.

Of course is Boris Badenov. Who you tink it be, Biff Stroganoff? Is good enov to get you +1, and control of board. And to get you shot by Fearless Leader, too! :D

I'll take everything but the shot. Now here's one that ought to be relatively easy:

    1. My name is nothing more than the last letter of the alphabet.

    2. Instead of showing up at picnics, I set my sights on a princess.

    3. My voice actor has been a sleeper who ended up going bananas, and also took the money and ran to Manhattan.

This is surely Z the ant, from Dreamworks early days, Antz in particular.

Yes, OUB, Z-4195, AKA Z is the answer.

    1. Self-explanatory.

    2. He falls for Princess Bala, which creates problems.

    3. He was voiced by Woody Allen, star and director of "Sleeper," "Bananas," "Take The Money And Run," Manhattan," and many others.

So you're up once again. Good job. :)

Z was a fun character, and it was amusing to see how horribly wrong Hollywood believes an ant colony functions. :wacky: Now it's time for me to loose a Mystery Character with similar charm. Ha! got one.

    1) This character has appeared in two separate animated feature films, and some ancillary material.

    2) This character qualifies as an athlete, competing alongside others of his kind seeking victory. Being a competitive type helps. And whoever named him apparently aimed to lock him in to his profession.

    3) And I've learned my lesson to warn y'all in advance when a character isn't human: this character isn't human. Not even close.

Okay, time for the easier clues, so that this one doesn't get unloved.

    4) Walt Disney Pictures did not produce this character's films; Disney did, however, market and distribute them.

    5) This character gets badly lost in his travels, and ends up in an off-the-beaten-path town full of colorful locals.

    6) A relationship is the last thing on this character's mind, as he seeks a way to return to the "real world." However, this character meets and becomes attracted to a cute li'l number with gorgeous lines. :jawdrop:

Well, I think Peterhale might be 100% exactly right: this is Lightning McQueen from Cars and Cars 2, a product of Pixar, but put in theaters through Disney's distributorship. Bravo, sir; receive a proper +1, my admiration, and control of the board. :)

    :arghh:
    I am SO sorry!
I forgot I had posted an answer, and haven't been checking the site!

This character is one I have been holding off posting, due to total obscurity - but it's all I 've got ready!

    1) My partner is human, but I am not.
    2) My producer was American, but we are not.
    3) We starred in four shorts, and presented a fifth.

    More clues...

    4) I am a machine, my partner is not. But I am so anthropomorphic that I'm delivered as a baby, and grow to full size as I practice my manoeuvres.
    5) We go up to town to earn a living, but the others run rings round us - until my partner employs a sneaky trick.
    6) In the fourth film I acquire a sister, based on my younger self from the first film.

    OK, final 3 clues!

    7) When my partner fails to win the prize for me he tries to shoot himself, but instead totally demolishes the carnival - leaving the prize up for grabs. Yes, the logic (and morality) of my shorts is in rather short supply!

    8) The Colonel's defence of his home makes us think the old house is haunted. The Colonel is the co-star in the fifth film.

    9) In the fourth film my sister attempts to get rid of an unwanted house-guest.
