Just to prevent this character from going unguessed, I'll give the answer. It's Mr. Swackhammer, from "Space Jam."

Yes, this is Mister Swackhammer from Space Jam, manager in chief of Moron Mountain, who sends his five Nerdlucks to Earth to retrieve the Looney Tunes.

I'm out of characters too and having a hard time thinking of something. I also don't have the time to really search and come up with clues. Hopefully tomorrow will be easier.

This is Junior, from "A Waggily Tale."

Indeed, it is Junior from "A Waggily Tale." Junior gets sent to his room by his mother after mistreating his dog. (Apparently mom does not approve of him riding the dog like Teddy Roosevelt) After being admonished on how he would feel if he were a dog--Junior has a nightmare where he is a dog. After his dream, Junior vows to treat his dog well. That's fine with Elvis (the dog) because he's just another little boy having a dream!

Great, however I can't do a character till tomorrow. At best, late tonight.

I live in a cave, and oversee a lot of lives.
I'm very cheerful, and get along with everyone.

Not quite. I can peg the first two clues with Vincent the bear from Over The Hedge, but Vincent is not nice. He's an ursine Al Capone, really. So, I got nuthin'.

This is the Candle Maker from "The Book of Life"

That's right, it's the Candle Maker.

He oversees all of the mortals.
He lives in The Cave of Souls.
He's very friendly and obviously makes candles. (The candles of life, that is)
His two close friends makes a wager about who Maria will marry. One of them cheats.

I almost wanted to see this movie, but the rather juvenile sounding dialogue in the trailers kind of turned me off from it--despite the gorgeous looking animation.

anyhow--here we go.
1. I see everyone around me with a mate and long for one of my own.
2. Naturally I sing a little song about how much I want someone to share my life with.
3. It quite literally takes thousands of years, but somebody does eventually pop up into my life--also quite literally.

I know who this is, but I'll wait for someone else.
