You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Aha, now you've got it, Emeraldisle.
It is indeed Asami Sato from "The Legend of Korra."
    1. Her father is Hiroshi Sato, the head of Future Industries.
    2. In season one, Korra discovers that Asami's father is working for the Equalists. However, Asami had no idea of this before hand.
    3. In the end of the finale, Korra and Asami take a vacation into the Spirit World, lovingly holding one another's hand. Also, yes, the creators themselves confirmed that the two are a couple.

Thanks, Glowworm. Now here's one I've wanted to post for the longest time:

    1. I'm in one of the older cartoons starring a well-known sailor.

    2. I accompany the aforementioned protagonist, my younger relative, who's also his girlfriend, and even his rival, to go dancing on New Year's Eve.

    3. When I help myself to a certain vegetable, I forget my old age, and dance up a storm.

    Yep. You got it, Salty.

    1. This was one of the old Popeye shorts from the Fleischer Studio.

    2. She went out on New Year's Eve with Popeye, Olive, and even Bluto, who was actually friendly for once.

    3. Self-explanatory.

    So good job, Salty. :)

    Ok, I have one.

I'm a mythical figure, and the narrator of this TV special.
I send someone to search for a runaway.
    My voice actor “dood it.”

I got this one--only through the runaway hint--it's Father Time from Rudolph's Shiny New Year--which I have only heard of.
Father Time is voiced by Red Skeleton.

    That's right, it's Father Time.

He sends Rudolph to find the runaway Happy.
He is voiced by Red Skelton who is known for his "The Mean Widdle Kid" character. This character would say, "I dood it."

Here's one that's been on my mind.
    1. I am a dictator.
    2. My accent is different from that of my subordinates.
    3. In the first story arc--I actually went through three different designs before a final one was settled upon.

Aha, this sounds zuzbischiously like Fearless Leader of Pottsylvania from The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, a rather Nazi-like fellow whose principal minions are the Soviet-ish Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale. Of course, Pottsylvania is a nation composed entirely of spies, so it stands to reason that it'd be a mishmash of cultures, similar to the "French" Foreign Legion. :blackeye:

It might be worth noting that this is page 100. Should we continue on to page 101? Or should I christen a new page to make this game ongoing-ier? That time when the old Gossamer Forum ran long, it went haywire with the post dates.

Yes it is Fearless Leader--and I always wondered why the heck a German was in charge of a bunch of Russians. Then again, I actually never picked up on the Nazi bit until rather recently.

    1. Fearless Leader is the dictator of Pottsylvania.
    2. Most of the Pottsylvanians appear to be Russian--however, Fearless Leader is German.
    3. Well, I'm not entirely certain about three designs. However, in an early episode of "The Jet Fuel Formula"--the first story arc of Rocky and Bullwinkle, Boris has set up a laboratory for Bullwinkle to attempt his jet fuel formula--unaware that Boris has a radio signal connected to a lab filled with spies ready to duplicate the formula. One of the spies on the other side--clearly the one giving the orders is wearing a trench coat, fedora and dark glasses. I suspect due to his German accent, and the fact that Boris says "Hello? Fearless Leader?" after he loses the signal after an explosion on the other end that this is none other than Fearless Leader himself. The second design comes in during the middle of the story arc, in which a chubby bald man constantly contacts Boris through a radio signal. This is indeed Fearless Leader. When Fearless Leader finally meets up with Boris near the end of the story arc, he now looks the way we are used to seeing him.

From a Jew, I must admit, this is the only "Nazi" I'll ever find to be funny.
