You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

The Mystery Cartoon Character Game, ongoing.

Yeah, this one I've heard of, but need to do more research on it when I have the time

Hmm, good query. Normally I'd have blurted out "Chilly Willy," but that character has already been played, as the 52nd mystery character.
Incidentally, only in cartoons are polar bears and penguins seen together. Polar bears are exclusive to the North Pole, while penguins are exclusive to Antarctica. Animators of course use Art Major Geography.

Well now, OUB, I admit you're on the right track. If no one gets it by tomorrow morning, I'll post three more clues.

Got it now. I knew it was a short from "The Three Caballeros" involving a penguin, but I did not recall the penguin's name. The penguin's name is Pablo and his short is "The Cold Blooded Penguin"

Yes, Glowworm, you nailed it. All clues are self-explanatory, so you go again. Good work. :)

    Here we go.

    1. I obviously don't have a happy marriage.
    2. I find something astonishing in our garden.
    3. My wife tries to get me committed--oh, but the joke's on her!

Now I'm truly stumped. Maybe someone who hasn't had a turn in quite a while will get it.

It's the husband from The Unicorn In The Garden.

Yes it is the husband from the Unicorn in the Garden.
1.The husband is obviously henpecked by his wife. When he breaks an egg while making breakfast, she demands to know what's going on down there. Also, when he attempts to wake her up later, she tells him to go away.
    2. The husband discovers a unicorn in their garden, eating roses.
    3. Naturally, the wife decides to call the police and a psychologist, and asks the police to bring a straitjacket with them for her husband. However, after she tell them all her tale, they tie her up instead. When the husband returns inside and is asked if he saw a unicorn, he mentions what his wife told him, that the unicorn is a mythological beast. His wife is then taken away by the police.

    Ok, here's mine.

I am in books, an animated movie, and even a ballet.
In fact, the music in the ballet was also used in my movie.
My name in cartoon form is not the same name I previously had.

Sorry, but I'm baffled again. My knowledge of ballet is very limited.

Hmm, technically, The Nutcracker is a ballet, and I'm sure it was adapted into animation. There's the nutcracker prince, there's the rat king, and there's the girl who receives the nutcracker as a Christmas gift, and becomes part of the plot to restore the cursed prince to his court.

Or, I could be completely off the mark.

Nope, nothing to do with The Nutcracker. But you are right that it was animated. Also, it wasn't technically a ballet. It was a full fledged ballet, first performed in 1892. Just wanted to share that tidbit.

Not quite. Here are the next clues.

I got mad when I didn't receive an invitation and crashed the event.
Soon, I am to be in a live action movie.
    I can change form.

    Maleficent!

    1. Self-explanatory.

    2. The music from the ballet was also used in the Disney movie.

    3. She was simpley the Old Fairy in the ballet.

    4. She was angry about not being invited when the Prncess was born.

    5. There will be a live action movie about her starring Angelina Jolie.

    6. During the movie's climax, she becomes a dragon!
