You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

The Mystery Cartoon Character Game, ongoing.

Nope, not Smurfette. Here are the next clues.

    My speech sounds like gibberish.
In the comics, the protagonist liberated me from a hag.
Also, none of the good-guys knew I was a female until my name was called.

Now I've got it. It's Alice The Goon!

    1. She began in Thimble Theater, Popeye's comic.

    2. The Goons were first animated five years later.

    3. She didn't become a cartoon character herself until long after that.

    4. She speaks only gibberish.

    5. She was once a slave of the Sea Hag.

    6. Self-explanatory.

Thanks, Saltyboot. Now here's one that certainly hasn't been posted as yet:

    1. I'm the villainess of an Easter Special.

    2. My adversaries are a rabbit, a bear, and my own little nephew, the King, plus a few others.

    3. In the end, I give up trying to halt the Easter traditions, and even get a flower named after me.

Yes, Saltyboot, you're right again. Now to explain:
    ea
    1. She was the villainess of the special.

    2. Her adversaries were Sunny Bunny, Gadzooks the bear, and her own nephew, 7 year old King Bruce, as well as Hallelujah Jones, Chugs the train, and the kids of Kidville, plus the Hendrew Sisters.

    3. She eventually gave up her efforts to discourage Easter traditions, and the others named Easter Lilies after her.

All yours, Salty. Great job. :)

I know this, but I'll bet ten to one someone else does, too. Let them supply the answer.

Yosemite Sam, methinks? He's always been portrayed as an ornery adult, but there may have been a glimpse of himself as a young 'un. The firearm-as-teething-ring would certainly be in character. Tough love, indeed.

Yosemite Sam was already on the list.
    However, I know this one.
It's the Dead End Kid from "Easter Yeggs" You know, "I wanna Easter egg! I wanna Easter egg!"

That is correct, it's the Dead End Kid! This is one of my favorite Easter cartoons (and cartoons in general).

Yeah, it's a great cartoon, although Elmer is one sicko wanting to kill and cook the Easter bunny.

Anyhow, I have a Seder coming up (Passover dinner) so I shall post one when I have the time--which may be tomorrow afternoon at the latest due to work. Thanks for the understanding.

I can post now after all.

    1. My mother needs someone to look after me while she's at work.
    2. I am left with a pig.
    3. He is left with a book to use on me.

    It's Butch from Brother Brat.

Porky babysits him while his mom is working in the factory.
Porky tries using a physiology book to help with the brat.

I have no idea. Besides, I'm off to Marineland to see the dolphins, so again, someone else should figure it out.

Alrighty then, here is the next set.

    My pet abandoned me.
I am foiled by a boy, as well as my pet.
At the end of the movie, I was a special guest at a history class.
