You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Today's unsung cartoon heroes are Karen and Hocus Pocus, from "Frosty The Snowman."

All the kids cared about Frosty, but these two were the only ones who accompanied him to the North Pole to save him from his fate. On top of that, Hocus was the one who went to get Santa Claus for help, and who also recovered the magic hat from Hinkle. So hats off to this remarkable pair.

Today's unsung cartoon hero of the day is Hermie the Elf.

This little guy wanted to be a dentist instead of making toys. He was bullied about it by his fellow elves, but his skills came in handy when he extracted all the Bumble's teeth! So he's hands down the most awesomesauce elf ever.

Today's unsung cartoon hero is Iggy Thistlewhite, from "The Year Without A Santa Claus."

He was the first to realize Santa had come to Southtown, and willingly accompanied Mrs. Claus, Jingle, and Jangle to see the Miser Brothers. Therefore, I declare him heroic.

Today's unsung cartoon heroes of the day are Twinky and Blinky, from the Flintstones episode, "Christmas Flintstone."

These elves came to get Fred when the real Santa was sick, and went along with him on his global journey to deliver presents. Best of all, they went back for Santa when Fred accidentally left his own gifts on the sleigh, and convinced him to deliver the presents personally, which he did. So these elves deserve extra gifts for their efforts.

Today's unsung cartoon heroes are the doves from "The Night The Animals Talked."

These resourceful birds are the ones who flew after Joseph, Mary, and the donkey, and succeeded in bringing them back to the stable just in time for the Savior's birth. So I cut them some well-deserved slack.

Today's unsung cartoon hero is Grandpa Squirrel, from "Peace On Earth."

Not exactly heroic, I admit, but in this classic that's part Christmas and part World War II, he tells his grandkids why the human race no longer exists.

Today's unsung cartoon hero is Sister Theresa, from "The First Christmas: The Story Of The First Christmas Snow."

This nun led the rescue of Lukas after he was struck by lightning. She also cared for the boy, his dog, and his sheep, proving that even nuns can be lifesavers.
